A small fire at Joe Gibbs Racing's team shop in Huntersville, N.C. forced an evacuation of the facility this afternoon, but no injuries were reported.
JGR said a piece of equipment in the machine shop caught fire and the local fire department quickly arrived to contain and extinguish the blaze.
A few employees received treatment for smoke inhalation, the team said, but no one required hospitalization. The team said all employees were able to return to work within an hour of the incident.
This is the second fire at JGR in a year; there was a fire in the team's engine shop last February.
