James Buescher won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship on Friday night at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but that's not what people will remember from the Ford EcoBoost 200.
No, they'll remember an epic finish which included first-time winner Cale Gale catching Kyle Busch on a green-white-checkered finish and putting him into the wall to claim victory.
Here's the amazing finish:
Meanwhile, Buescher finished 13th to beat Timothy Peters by six points. Ty Dillon had closed to within one point of Buescher late in the race, but he was involved in an accident with rookie Kyle Larson – a move in which both drivers were going for the same spot.
Joey Coulter finished third, followed by Nelson Piquet Jr. and Miguel Paludo.
But the race will long be remembered for the last lap. Busch had little to say about what happened except this: "I got drove in the fence."
That about sums it up.
