Stewart-Haas Racing re-signs four more sponsors for Ryan Newman's 2013 NASCAR season

When Stewart-Haas Racing re-signed Ryan Newman for the 2013 season, it did so despite not having any sponsors inked to a deal.

Primary sponsor U.S. Army had decided to leave after this year, and it was questionable as to which others would return.

But then Quicken Loans upped its involvement from nine races this season to 18 races next year, and the sponsorship picture got much clearer for Newman's No. 39 car.

After Wednesday, it looks even better: SHR announced it's re-signed current sponsors Wix Filters, Outback Steakhouse, Aspen Dental and Code 3 Associates for next season – a grouping that will combine for 10 Sprint Cup Series races next season.

That leaves only 10 unsponsored events for Newman with plenty of time still to go before the 2013 season begins.

"We work really hard to deliver on the racetrack, but we work just as hard to understand each one of our sponsor's businesses so we can help them accomplish the goals they have, be it in racing or with their customers," team owner Tony Stewart said. "It's great seeing these partnerships grow, and we look forward to another year of success with each of them."

Here's a breakdown of the sponsorships:

• Wix will be on the car for three races: Fontana, New Hampshire (July) and Talladega (October).

• Outback is the primary sponsor for three race as well: Richmond (April), Daytona (July) and Texas (November). It will also continue its free Bloomin' Onion for any Newman top-10 finish.

• Aspen Dental has two races: The Sprint All-Star Race and Watkins Glen.

• Non-profit organization Code 3 Associates will be on the car for both races at Kansas. Code 3 specializes in animal rescue and recovery in disaster areas.
