NASCAR will give its race teams an option to decorate the rear spoiler and shark fin for the Coca-Cola 600 in May and the Daytona race in July, opening up an area of the car usually not used for paint schemes.
The reason is a newly announced initiative to promote patriotism and show support for military families over the summer months.
