All eyes will be on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday, but before the drivers contend for the Indy 500 crown, they will first partake in Saturday's IPL 500 Festival Parade.
The parade has been an Indianapolis 500 tradition since 1957 with the 33 drivers serving as grand marshals. In addition to the drivers, a long list of celebrities will also partake in the festivities. Celebrities participating in the parade this year include Olivia Newton-John, Gladys Knight and Rick Springfield, among others.
The parade will also feature a number of floats and balloons. There will be 10 customized floats running in this year's parade, including an Indianapolis Motor Speedway-themed float. There will also be plenty of music as more than a dozen marching bands will partake in the parade.
More than 300,000 spectators are expected to attend. The parade will also be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network.
