Kasey Kahne may have won Sunday night's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but he remained shy of one of the two Chase Wild Card spots despite his victory.
The win vaulted Kahne to 15th in the Sprint Cup Series standings, but he's still seven points behind Ryan Newman for the second Wild Card position.
Brad Keselowski's two wins give him the No. 1 Wild Card with 14 races remaining before the Chase cutoff.
As for the regular standings, Greg Biffle remained the points leader – by 10 over teammate Matt Kenseth – and Denny Hamlin passed Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the No. 3 spot.
