The weather for the rest of the weekend at Dover International Speedway will be much calmer after Friday's severe weather outbreak along the Eastern Seaboard and Mid-Atlantic. With the exception of some wind Saturday afternoon, the weekend looks good.
The cold front that brought the rain and storms has moved off the East Coast. In its wake will be cooler and breezy conditions for qualifying and the Nationwide race Saturday. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine with high temperatures in the middle 70s. Winds will be out of the west-northwest between 10-20 miles per hour.
Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race looks just as nice: Partly sunny skies, with pleasant afternoon temperatures in the upper-70s. There will still be a stiff wind out of the west between 10-15 miles per hour.
