The weekend weather forecast for NASCAR at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is split. It will be hot and humid with Saturday mostly sunny and an increasing threat of rain for Sunday afternoon.
The forecast for Sunday has me nervous. We will have a very warm and humid atmosphere across the region as a weak disturbance begins to move in from the west. That will be enough of a spark for widespread showers and storms to develop as we go through the afternoon.
Radar will need to be monitored Sunday afternoon for the Sprint Cup race. It's possible showers could cause delay or depending on how wide spread the rain becomes shorten the race. Not looking like a wash out just yet but as I said above the forecast has me nervous.
I expect a few more changes to the forecast please follow me on Twitter @NASCAR_WXMAN and like me on Facebook for the latest weather updates through the weekend.
