Weather is expected to be nice this weekend for the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. After rain, heat and humidity the last two days in Indianapolis, a cold front that moved through Friday afternoon will keep temperatures in the mid- to upper-80s with a mix of sunshine and clouds.
Forecast for Saturday is cooler with less humidity. Highs will be in the mid 80s, with a mix of sunshine and clouds and a north-northwesterly wind between five to 10 miles per hour.
Sunday's weather forecast is a little warmer as highs get back to near 90. It will still be a little less humid, with partly to mostly sunny skies. Winds will be light and variable through out the afternoon.
