Scattered showers and thunderstorms are still in the forecast for Atlanta Motor Speedway and the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup races.
Tropical moisture will remain in place all weekend long. This makes the atmosphere unstable and sets the stage for scattered afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms. Like Friday, there will be lots of dry time, but showers and storms can't be ruled out in the afternoon and evening. I don't expect wash outs, but delays or red flags due to weather are possible both Saturday and Sunday nights.
