2013 Sprint Unlimited weather forecast: Dry, but chilly night of racing ahead

NASCAR fans in Daytona shouldn't need their umbrellas on Saturday night, but they can expect a somewhat chilly night as temperatures drop into the low 50s.

NASCAR fans are excited about Saturday night's Sprint Unlimited as it's the beginning of the 2013 NASCAR season. While race fans attending the event don't have to worry about bringing their umbrellas, as it's not supposed to rain anymore, but a cold front is moving through the area and could cause some chilly temperatures.

During the Saturday night Sprint Unlimited, which begins at 8:10 p.m. ET, the temperature is predicted to be 55 degrees and partly cloudy with winds coming from the west, blowing between 15 and 20 miles per hour with higher gusts. Temperatures are expected to fall into the 30s overnight and return to the mid-50s throughout the Daytona 500 Qualifying event on Sunday with 12 to 18 miles per hour gusts of wind.
