Kasey Kahne has good reason to feel he needs to get back at Kyle Busch at Dover International Speedway on Sunday. Busch has caused Kahne to wreck three times this Sprint Cup season, and while Busch maintains that they were all accidents, he has said that he would understand if Kahne felt like he needed payback.
Kahne said he will take the high road when the two face off once again for the 2013 FedEx 400, however.
"It never has been (in my nature)-I just race hard," Kahne said. "Kyle races hard. We've never had problems in the past. His were mistakes. If I were ever to hit him, it would be a mistake myself.
"I'm going to race him all year. It is just what we're going to do every Sunday and Saturday."
Kahne has passed up several opportunities to get back at Busch since the last wreck at Darlington. With 34 laps to go during the Nationwide Series race Saturday, for example, the two drivers were locked side-by-side in a fight for seventh for a long stretch without incident. The stakes will be higher for Sunday's Sprint Cup race, however. If Kahne truly has revenge in his heart, there isn't a much better time than Sunday to give Busch his comeuppance.
