Las Vegas is always a fun destination for NASCAR drivers, offering plenty of fun events and distractions during race week to entertain them when they're not at the track.
They probably needed that more than usual this year. Team Penske continues to dominate qualifying this season, which is bound to be frustrating for every other racing team.
For the second straight week, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski will share the front row when the Kobalt 400 begins Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The two Penske drivers seem to have the new qualifying format figured out, but it remains to be seen whether they can put together a winning strategy. Both drivers finished in the top five last week in Phoenix, but they both failed to win the race.
You'll have to scroll farther back in the pack to find the current points leader. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will start 14th after his worst qualifying run of the season. He'll be sandwiched between Kasey Kahne and Jeff Gordon, his fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammates.
The race will get underway at 3 p.m. ET on FOX. Rain threatened the first two races of the season, but expect clear and sunny skies in Las Vegas on Sunday.
