The Charlotte Bobcats still seem willing to trade the No. 2 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft if they can receive an established player in return, but if they keep the selection, it looks like Thomas Robinson is edging into the lead. The Kansas big man will work out for the club on June 22, and he appears to be their top choice right now, according to Draft Express' Jonathan Givony.
Robinson will likely perform for other teams before then, but as of right now, his only workout was with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
In his latest NBA mock draft, Sports Illustrated's Sam Amick has the Bobcats taking Robinson with the No. 2 pick, but notes that Kentucky's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is another possibility. The Bobcats continue to shop the pick, though, with the latest rumor suggesting they may be eying Oklahoma City Thunder sixth man James Harden.
