Former Florida Gators guard Bradley Beal participated in a workout with the Washington Wizards on Thursday, along with two other players who intend to enter the upcoming 2012 NBA draft: Hollis Thompson and Quincy Roberts.
Mike Prada at Bullets Forever reports that Beal definitely impressed, looking like the clear standout among the three soon-to-be rookies. Beal spoke to reporters about how he was able to really start putting his game together over the past year:
"Throughout the year, I was struggling because I wasn't having too much fun," Beal told reporters. "I was too worried about my shot rather than doing other things to impact the game. [But] once those things started happening, my shot started falling and I started having fun again."
Washington fans will see whether Beal ends up being the top pick for the Wizards in this year's draft. Prada has many more notes from Beal's workout, so click through and give that a read.
