The Sacramento Kings are weighing all of their options with the No. 5 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, including whether to trade the selection. Player personnel director Jerry Reynolds told the Sacramento Bee that the team will entertain trade proposals through the June 28 draft date.
"We're going to have some decent choices, maybe more than one," Reynolds said. "This is the weekend before the storm, so to speak. Geoff (Petrie) will start to get flooded with calls. As time goes by, there might be trade possibilities that would be better than the pick. We'll have options."
If the Kings do elect to keep the pick, they could have their pick of a number of quality prospects, including Thomas Robinson, Bradley Beal, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Harrison Barnes.
