VIDEO: Charles Barkley's "I May Be Wrong" Gets Auto-Tuned For Song

If you've always said that all Charles Barkley needed to have a mediocre singing career was a healthy dose of Auto-Tune, today is your day for vindication.

Once upon a time, Barkley wrote a book called I May Be Wrong But I Doubt It; I think it's safe to say this T-Mobile commercial, featuring longtime pitchmen Barkley and Dwyane Wade, might revitalize sales of the book briefly.

The two guys in the studio early in the commercial are Miami-based hip-hop production team Cool and Dre, and this may well be their best work. It may be partly because I'm blogging late into the night on Christmas Day, but that echoed sample of Barkley's voice is flipped nicely, and almost sounds wistful when recontextualized into a poppy song a la DJ Steve Porter's "Press Hop" series.

My only question: it took until just now for someone to Auto-Tune Charles Barkley?
