The Lakers and Clippers take the court for two exhibition games next week, which wouldn't be particularly notable under normal circumstances. To recap: Chris Paul was incredibly close to becoming a Laker last week, only to see David Stern veto the deal. Eventually, the Lakers gave up trying to rework the deal, allowing the Clippers to swoop in. Now, the Clippers have reportedly sealed the deal, completing the trade for Paul.
Nothing like a little LA offseason drama. This also sounds like fun.

It's just preseason, but tell me you won't be tuning in. If there's any chance at all David Stern shows up, stands in the corner and glares at the Los Angeles bench with the finest of trollgazes, it's worth gluing yourself to the TV.
