The Chris Paul trade from the New Orleans Hornets to the Los Angeles Clippers will be looked at from all angles over the coming weeks, but one angle that will probably be overlooked in the early goings is from a business perspective. CNBC's Darren Rovell has that covered, however, and it's going to be interesting how fans receive it.
Rovell reported early Thursday morning that the Clippers decided to raise their ticket prices for single games -- they're reportedly sold out of season tickets -- when they go on sale Thursday morning.
The exact raise in prices hasn't been published yet so it's difficult to know exactly what affect the Paul trade had, but will fans still be excited when they find out Paul caused ticket prices to be higher than before the trade?
