Carmelo Anthony will play his first NBA season opener for the New York Knicks on Christmas Day when the Knicks take on the Boston Celtics at noon, but his footwear will not correspond with his team's colors. Anthony will instead be wearing a green and orange shoe given to him by Jordan Brand to correspond with the holiday.
Here's a photo of the shoes, via CNBC's Darren Rovell:
The Knicks wear blue and orange, but Anthony will instead play in Christmas colors. The main outline of shoe is green, while the laces are orange and the bottom is red. Orange is sort of a Knicks color, so I guess that'll be the way Anthony recognizes his current team.
