Metta World Peace is going to have to make peace with himself for this ugly sequence. (Get it! Aren't we clever?). The Artist Formerly Known As Ron Artest found himself with the ball with the shot clock winding down in the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Chicago Bulls, and he tried to make a play. He slipped, but it worked out anyway when Troy Murphy picked up the loose ball and nailed a jumper.
It was the lowest moment of a pretty poor game for World Peace. He has just four points on 2-6 shooting, and he's forced almost all of those six shots. On this play, though, he at least got on the stat sheet in a positive way.
