New Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson is quickly becoming my favorite post-game listen. Not because he provides a window into his team or the game, or because he's entertaining via sarcasm (Gregg Popovich) or bombast (Isiah Thomas). It's because he's so completely full of himself.
Take this quote from after the Warriors' Monday upset win over the Bulls.
Jackson is talking about Golden State's Stephen Curry, who had a marvelous game (21 points, 10 assists):
"He ran his basketball team," said Golden State coach Mark Jackson, who quietly celebrated his first victory at any level. "He was in attack mode against arguably the best point guard and the MVP of the league. He did a great job of being an extension of me on the floor."
"He was awesome! It was as if I was on the floor instead of him!" Ugh.
