There was good and bad on this play for LeBron James. The bad was the turnover leading to a breakway -- LeBron was stripped of the ball and had to give chase to prevent a lay-in on the other end. But the bad led to the good, and that good was excellent.
LeBron chased down Derrick Brown from behind, timed him up and rejected the dunk attempt with authority. It was a thing of beauty -- a certain block of the day/week/whatever candidate. LeBron catches it clean, then does everything but hang onto the ball in his palm following the rejection, which more than made up for the turnover on the other end.
Video after the jump.
