The Dallas Mavericks thought they had rallied back to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder when Vince Carter sank a three-point shot setup by Dirk Nowitzki, but Thunder's Kevin Durant would have none of it. With Carter's shot, the Mavs took a 102-101 lead just as the game clock was about to expire. Durant got the ball with a second left on the clock however, sinking the game winning three-point shot from 28-feet out to seal the Thunder win, 104-102.
Kevin Durant ended the night with 30 points, including the game winning three-pointer, 11 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks. Nowitzki, who thought he had the game winning assist ended the night scoring 29 points, including going 10 for 10 from the free throw line in the loss. Jason Terry was able to pick up 16 points a nine assists from the bench for the Mavs.
