This is absolutely one of the weirdest situations I've heard of. Somehow, Roger Mason was omitted from the Washington Wizards roster on Friday -- listed as inactive -- creating an absolute mess in the first half. Mason entered the game -- again, he wasn't on the roster -- and hit a baseline jumper, but that's when the fun got started.
#wizards picked up tech because Roger Mason is ineligible for game. Wasn't on active roster. Mason grabbed head & yelled, "This is nuts!"

Roger Mason apparently wasn't on list of players provided by MIL. So when team circled active players, Mason wasn't an option. #wizards

Roger Mason made baseline jumper, but his points no longer count. I've covered NBA for over 10 years, never seen this before. Nuts! #wizards

Edit: And here's the roster, courtesy of @JohnCTownsend. Mason's name is not on it.
The Wizards were issued a tech, Mason was ejected and order was restored, apparently. Only one thing left to say, y'all: how u.
