When David Stern vetoed the L.A. Lakers' trade for Chris Paul, he kicked a giant hornets' nest. NBA players swarmed around the topic on their favorite medium (Twitter!) and stung the commissioner and his co-horts repeatedly.
The Indiana Pacers' Danny Granger might have had the most extreme idea.
Due to the sabotaging of the LA/NO trade by david stern, and following in the footsteps of my athlete brethern Metta World Peace and Chad Ochocinco, I'm changing my last name to "Stern's Bi#&h" #effectiveimmediately
Hmm, Danny Stern's Bi#&h. Has a nice ring.
Jason Richardson turned his ire on Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, who sent an e-mail to Stern calling for the rejection of the deal and the renaming of the 25 unnamed franchise to "Washington Generals."
Once again Buck Nasty a.k.a Dan Gilbert is letting his wrath being felt by being the main voice in the CP trade block.
Long live Buck Nasty.
And finally, we hear from Stephen Curry.
Feeling for my man CP, got what he deserved and waited patiently for...instead, Stern hit him with
Stephen Curry is such a dork/is so great.
We end with the fun stuff, but there's no getting around it: NBA players are mad as hell about Stern's decision.
