Lakers Vs. Cavs Score: Cleveland Holds Fourth Quarter Lead

OK, Cleveland Cavaliers fans (and those who fail to appreciate the Los Angeles Lakers): it’s been a long season, but it’s almost time to get your hopes up. The Cavs lead by a 76-73 score early in the fourth quarter against the defending Western Conference champions. This’ll really show LeBron James!

Pau Gasol is doing it all for L.A. as poor offensive nights continue for Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest, and Lamar Odom. Gasol has 26 points and 16 rebounds, while Bryant has at least been able to contribue on the glass, grabbing 10. Bryant has hit only six of his 16 attempts from the floor, while Artest and Odom have combined for all of three points.

Ramon Sessions has 23 for the Cavs, followed by Antawn Jamison’s 19. J.J. Hickson leads Cleveland in boards with 13. The Cavs have shot better than the Lakers, and have held onto the ball better too.

For more on this game, Lakers fans should visit Silver Screen And Roll and SB Nation Los Angeles, and Cavs fans should join Fear The Sword and SB Nation Cleveland.
