VIDEO: Kobe Bryant Intercepts Craig Sager's Carmelo Anthony Trade Rumor Questions

All TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager wants to do is ask Carmelo Anthony a question he's refused to answer for seven months: where are you going? As trade rumors involving the New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets continue to dominate the NBA, Sager dove to Anthony's perch during the second half of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game to ask 'Melo about the rumors. Kobe Bryant, a self-dubbed press secretary and/or uncle to 'Melo, stepped in.

It's about time someone stopped the tyrant that is Craig Sager. In case you missed it, Sager took an unsolicited shot at rookie DeMarcus Cousins during the presentation of the Rookie Challenge MVP award on Friday. Then, during the first half of Sunday's All-Star Game, he peppered teenage pop star Justin Bieber with questions about his spending and study habits. Kobe can recognize a bully from a mile away, and put a wrench in Sager's attempts to get 'Melo to say something interesting.

Of course, Carmelo has been doing a really solid job preventing himself from saying anything interesting all season, so maybe Kobe's interference was unneeded.
