Troy Murphy Chooses Boston AND Miami According To ESPN And Yahoo!

Monday, Troy Murphy finally got the buyout he wanted from the Golden State Warriors, and according to most NBA insiders, he had his sights set on either the Boston Celtics or Miami Heat.

Now, according to those same insiders, he's choosing both! At the exact same time ESPN's Mark Stein reported this...

It's like Biggie vs. Tupac. Don't make Windhorst and Wojnarowski get some sources on record and take things to a whole 'nother level. Windhorst don't PLAY.

For what it's worth, Stein has reiterated that Murphy is choosing the Celtics, saying that he's heard the news from Murphy himself. That seems like a pretty solid source on this one.

But here's to hoping this confusion as long as possible, because really, all of this centers on Troy Murphy. It's a story that needed some good ole reporter beef to spice things up. But please, guys, keep things on Twitter. We don't need any more writer-on-writer ink gettin' spilled in these streets. At the end of the day, it's just music Troy Murphy. KEEP IT CLEAN, YO.
