Lakers Vs. Heat Score: Chris Bosh Leads Miami To Two-Point Halftime Lead

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh asked for more touches after the Heat's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday. So far, he's delivered after his demand. Bosh has 16 points as the Heat have a 55-53 lead on the Los Angeles Lakers at halftime, as Miami looks to snap its five-game losing streak.

Bosh asked to get more touches in the post specifically, and so far, he's spent most of his time there. Ten of his 16 points have come on layups or dunks, and only four have come on jump shots. Bosh has abandoned the 20-footer at the top of the key that he's shot frequently this season in favor of more forays into the lane, and the Heat have rewarded him with more touches closer to the basket.

Nevertheless, the Lakers are right in the game. Kobe Bryant has a game-high 17 points, and Pau Gasol added 14 of his own. Bosh is starring, but LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have both been quiet. In fact, it's Mike Miller, with 11 points off the bench, and Mario Chalmers, who had nine first-quarter points, that have supplied most of the scoring along with Bosh.
