Suns Vs. Lakers Score: Kobe Bryant Helps Lakers Begin To Pull Away, 95-86

Kobe Bryant scored 12 points in the third quarter, nearly doubling his first-half total, as the Los Angeles Lakers stretched their lead to as much as 17 points in the third quarter. But the Phoenix Suns came clawing back, making a run to end the quarter and pull withing nine points heading into the fourth, 95-86.

Steve Nash came alive in the third, picking it up on the offensive end to push his totals to 14 points and 14 assists for the game. Channing Frye led the way with 17 points, with Vince Carter adding 13 through three quarters. Frye also had a team-high nine rebounds. Marcin Gortat led the way off the bench with 14 points.

Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol rounded out the Lakers’ three-headed scoring crew, adding 21 and 20 points to Kobe’s 26. Ron Artest is also in double-figures with 11 thus far.
