Magic Vs. Knicks Score: Carmelo Anthony's 25 Points Keeps Knicks Lead Alive

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New York Knicks kept their lead over the Orlando Magic, 75-73, after the third quarter. However, Dwight Howard emerged with 19 points and 13 rebounds after scoring only four points in the first half. Gilbert Arenas has still not made a shot, Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu scored 16 points and 14 points, respectively.

After a charge was called on Landry Fields with eight minutes left in the quarter, the game seemingly turned in favor of the Magic. Dwight Hoard hit on a two-point shot to regain the lead for Magic, but Carmelo Anthony scored the next 11 points for the Knicks to make it a see-saw lead for the teams. Later, Anthony hit a three with under minute to play in the quarter to give the Knicks 75 points. It was the second of back-to-back threes by Anthony to end quarter.
