Mavericks Vs. Blazers Score: Dallas Leads 61-57 After Portland Makes A Third Quarter Run

Stay connected with SB Nation

Down 10 at the half, the Portland Trail Blazers made a run in the third quarter, cutting the Dallas Mavericks lead to a more manageable four points heading into the final 12 minutes, 61-57. It’s been a low-scoring affair in Dallas as defense has dominated and both teams have struggled to find the hoop throughout. But with a balanced attack, Dallas has the lead, though Portland is coming on strong after falling into a hole before the half.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for the Blazers and has a game-high 21 points through three quarters. Portland has been finding Aldridge using every way possible, including a variety of alley-oops thus far. Marcus Camby has been a monster on the glass with 17 rebounds to go with his four points in the first three quarters. Andre Miller has 14 points, six assists and four rebounds, as well.

Jason Kidd led the way for the Mavs with a team-high 19 points. Dirk Nowitzki has 10 points and nine rebounds. Shawn Marion and Peja Stojakovic each have six points as the Mavs have spread the scoring load around all night.
