The most exciting moment in an otherwise boring game between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers happened late in the second quarter, when 2003 consensus No. 2 college basketball player of the year Dwyane Wade made 2010 consensus college basketball player of the year Evan Turner look silly with this stepback crossover. Turner turned completely sideways and was incredibly confused as Wade jumped back and nailed the jumper.
This combination of offensive genius and defensive ineptitude was followed by announcer Kevin Harlan declaring that we needed to "kick up your heels and go to the dance floor." One could argue it was a fitting way to describe the play. One could also argue that it was not, given that Turner's dance move was simply to turn sideways. At least everyone could argue that it was good that the statement wasn't made by Reggie Miller.
