Through the first two games, the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder have played some thrilling games, and Saturday has been no exception. After taking a seven-point deficit into the half, Denver came flying back in the third quarter, making a run to take the lead heading into the fourth, 73-71
Kevin Durant had a rough end to the quarter, losing the ball with time winding down, fouling J.R. Smith and getting whistled for a technical foul as he checked out of the game. Already up by two, Denver was unable to extend its lead as Smith missed both his free throws and Raymond Felton missed the technical foul free throw.
Serge Ibaka has a game-high 18 points through three quarters and Durant has 17 points. Russell Westbrook and James Harden are also in double-figures with 10 points apiece. Kenyon Martin has 13 points for the Nuggets. Chris Andersen has 12 points thus far.
