If you've been following the Sacramento Kings relocation saga in any detail, the fact that Tom Hunt, the team's senior vice president of corporate sponsorships, is, according to an Ailene Voisin report, leaving the franchise is ... well, it just makes sense.
In the past two weeks, Sacramento mayor Kevin Johnson has led an effort to secure $10 million in new corporate sponsorship for the Kings. The franchise has not been involved in the process at all. No word on whether KJ plans to put in his resumé for the opening.
