Lakers Vs. Hornets Final Score: Kobe Bryant Leads L.A. To 98-80 Victory In Clincher

After scoring just nine points in the first quarter, Kobe Bryant came back with 15 points in the second half to complete a 98-80 victory over the New Orleans Hornets and capture the series, 4-2. Bryant finished with 24 points on 6-of-16 shooting, but 10-of-10 at the free throw line. The Lakers will face the winner of the Dallas Mavericks-Portland Trail Blazers series in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

Andrew Bynum added 18 points on 8-13 shooting for L.A., and had eight big offensive rebounds. Chris Paul, the star of the series and the point guard who had one of the more impressive triple-doubles in recent playoff history in Game 5, was limited to 10 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.
