Raptors.com Tweaks Chris Bosh In Announcing Bryan Colangelo Extension

For the past year, Toronto Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo has deflected criticism by, essentially, reminding everyone that Chris Bosh is a bum. It is no surprise, then, that in commenting on Colangelo's shiny new extension, a blog on the Raptors' official website gave Bosh the business.

Playoff runs in his first two seasons remain the high-water mark of Colangelo's tenure but misfortune found the team when pillar forward Jorge Garbajosa suffered a catastrophic leg injury. Last summer, all-time scoring leader Chris Bosh left to become a third wheel with the Miami Heat.

Zing! In fairness to Bosh, he is in the Eastern Conference Finals, and Colangelo is wearing a beautiful Italian shirt at the NBA Draft Lottery. In fact, using Bosh's flight to defend the Raptors' fate is troubling, considering that by the start of free agency Colangelo had admitted Toronto had little hope of keeping Bosh, and the Raptors didn't seem to seriously entertain trading him before the deadline.

But still, it was a good Bosh zing. And that's all that counts.
