LeBron James Tells United Center Employees To Pack Up Before Heat's Game 5 Win

If Derrick Rose is supremely humble, LeBron James is supremely confident. With the Miami Heat up 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals over the Chicago Bulls, and the Heat warming up in the bowels of Chicago's United Center ahead of Game 5, James had a message for arena workers. From Aggrey Sam of CSNChicago.com:

"You all can pack all this [stuff] up," he proclaimed. "After tonight, you won't need it."

Turns out he was right. Of course, this is actually somewhat mild braggadocio: had the Bulls won Game 5 on the home floor, the series would have reverted to AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami for Game 6. A Bulls win in Game 5 could still allow United Center employees to pack up, so long as the Bulls didn't also win Game 6. So essentially, LeBron was just predicting, at worst, a split in the two games to follow. Given the projection of the series prior to that, it seems like a reasonable prediction.
