Coming straight out of the first media timeout of the week, Jason Kidd hit a three-point shot for the Dallas Mavericks, something that he is going to have to continue to do for his team to be successful. On the next possession, Kidd missed an open three, but Dallas got an offensive rebound and the possession again ended with a Kidd three-point attempt, which me made this time around.
For the Miami Heat, Chris Bosh looks like he's actually in the mood to play like a star tonight. He has three six points and three rebounds, and he's playing great defense and looking mean in the process. Guarding Tyson Chandler, who is primarily in the game for his defense, makes his life slightly easier, but he's still playing well.
With about three minutes remaining in the first quarter, both teams have started to introduce some of their reserves into the game, giving their starters a rest. Chris Bosh, Mike Bibby, Dirk Nowitzki and DeSean Stevenson are all taking a rest.
