In the first half of Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Dwyane Wade was largely anonymous. He had a couple of flashes of brilliance, but he was certainly the third best player among the 'Big Three' as both LeBron James and Chris Bosh had great performances in the opening 24 minutes. In the second half, it's been all Wade, and particularly in the last three minutes. With 3:06 remaining in the game, it's becoming the Wade show.
Wade has 15 of his 22 points in the second half, with six of those coming on two fantastic three pointers over the last couple of minutes. On the other end, he had a great block on Shawn Marion that was just as impressive as the shots. The most recent three-pointer, which lead into a media timeout, had the feel of a virtual dagger, even with three minutes remaining in the game. It's tough to say a team with Dirk Nowitzki is toast with three minutes left in a game, but Dirk isn't looking like the Dirk of the Thunder series tonight.
