The Oklahoma City Thunder's starting five have been fantastic defensively so far, and as a result, they lead the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 3 by a score of 51-43 at halftime, despite shooting only 45 percent from the floor. Zach Randolph and Serge Ibaka are involved in an entertaining duel, as both have managed double figure scoring and both are on pace for a double-double.
Kevin Durant has been somewhat quiet, but certainly solid and mistake-free, shooting 5-9 for 12 points. Russell Westbrook is unsurprisingly playing the role of distributor, and he has eight assists. O.J. Mayo scored eight points and was a +9 in net points, seriously lifting the Grizzlies with his play off the bench, but they seriously needed his contribution. Despite Randolph's 10 points and seven rebounds, Memphis is struggling to establish their game down low, and they would likely be in a much deeper hole without Mayo's contribution.
