VIDEO: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade Mock Dirk Nowitzki Illness Before Heat Loss

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, not content to be hated by 90 percent of the country, gave that extra effort before the Miami Heat's Game 5 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. The video below was purportedly taken after Miami had its shootaround on Thursday. Via Mavs Moneyball:

I fully except Dirk Nowitzki to show up to Sunday's game with a bandage on his hip, DeShawn Stevenson to get the international symbol for choking tattooed over ol' Abe Lincoln and Jason Terry to wear an eye patch.

That said -- because this will get blown up like a meth lab today -- it's highly probable that Wade and James aren't mocking Dirk (all NBA players are buddy-buddy, after all), but the media attention focused on Dirk's cold. A cold that went away after one day, but was legitimately compared to the Flu Game. All anyone ever wants in this crazy world is a little sympathy, and the Heat aren't getting a bit. Is it really so wrong to fake a cold to meet softer eyes?
