Washington Wizards draft pick Jan Vesely brought an extensive Czech Republic fan section with him to New Jersey. So it made sense that the roar of approval when his name was called was as big as that enjoyed by any other prospect. But even uninvested fans decided to cheer when Vesely kissed his girlfriend in international fashion after being selected:
Here's everything the casual fan has learned about Vesely so far: he's good at dunks and he kisses tall girls in public whenever he feels like it. He is super awesome!
His girlfriend, Eva, is actually a fellow basketball player and an architecture student. Our own Andy Hutchins has deduced she's better known as Eva Viteckova, a teammate of Vesely's sister on the Czech Republic women's national team.
