On Aug. 26, Ron Artest will be in court to petition a judge to allow him to change his name to "Metta World Peace." Which begs the question, "Why?"
Artest/World Peace stopped by ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption to explain just that.
I get why he ended up going with "Metta" but there's something about "Ron World Peace" that really would have put this over the top.
