LeBron James Destroys Reporter Who Asks Inferior Question

LeBron James, your Miami Heat have defeated the Dallas Mavericks at their home to take a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals. In the post-game press conference, broadcast live on NBA TV and ESPN, CBS' Gregg Doyel asked a pretty silly question about how superstars usually take over in the fourth quarter, but LeBron has seemed to "shrink" in the role in the Finals. LeBron's response?

He explained that in basketball players compete on offense and defense, and that Dwyane Wade had his offense going and that LeBron's job was to shut down the Mavericks' offense and, in a true piece de resistance ...

If you can just watch the film again and see what I did defensively, you'll ask me a better question tomorrow.

That's the press conference version of a facial. Doyel, who actually wears screen-print t-shirts to press row, might understand it if I express what LeBron did to his question with something more guttural like "BOOM!" or a Nelson Muntz's "HA-HA!" But that's unnecessary. A nice Gus Johnson "Cold! Blooded!" and a few fist bumps with my buddies will do the trick.

Want to see Doyel's second silliest moment of the day? When he predicted LeBron would get 20 free throws because he would attack with a fury and the refs would have a loose whistle with him. In reality, he shot ... four.
