In July 2004, the Phoenix Suns signed Quentin Richardson to a six-year, $48 million offer sheet. The L.A. Clippers would not match. Richardson would be traded five times during the contract, for names including Darko Milicic, Sebastian Telfair plus Mark Madsen and, in a final stroke of disrespect, Mark Blount.
