If Matt Barnes and Michael Beasley need lockout jobs, might I suggest crowd control or security. To recap, Beasley mushed a heckler in New York on Thursday night after yelling "I get paid to do this" during a game in New York. No idea if he meant paid to handle hecklers or paid to play ball, but either one works. And just a few hours later, Barnes pulled a modified Beasley, reportedly punching a player at an exhibition game in San Francisco.
Remember, this was all within a span of about two hours. Here's what Sam Amick had to say. Note the use of the #That'sSoBeasley hashtag, which sums up the situation quite well.
So I'm hearing that Matt Barnes got into some form of fisticuffs at the SF Pro-Am #That'ssoBeasley.
Followed by this tweet and picture from someone in attendance.
At SF Pro-AM and Matt Marnes just punched this dude in the face. The crowd goes crazy
Somewhere in there, Barnes had just finished throwing down.
At some point, this will be blamed on the lockout. But let's remember this is Michael Beasley and Matt Barnes. This is not the NBA lockout's fault.
