Derrick Rose is not expected to suit up tonight against the Wizards as his toe injury worsens.
With concerns about Derrick Rose's ailing left toe, the star is not expected to play for the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night when the team takes on the Washington Wizards, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Rose's condition has worsened recently.
A team source said Rose's turf toe has worsened and he likely will sit out the Wizards' game, the Bulls' third in three nights. Rose is wearing a walking boot and the team says his status is day-to-day.
The Bulls have signed veteran point guard Mike James to a non-guaranteed contract in order to help fill the void. James was an unsigned player at the NBDL player showcase, which was attended by Bulls' general manager Gar Forman.
Rose is averaging 20.7 PPG and 8.6 APG in 11 appearances so far this season for the Bulls.
