So, the Miami Heat are pretty much playing a video game this year. The offense is ridiculous -- perhaps better than we expected -- and when the Heat are clicking it's something to see.
Take Friday night, for instance. The Heat are in a battle with the Denver Nuggets, trailing as this is being written, but continue to put on a show. And the best highlight of the game so far came right off a Denver made bucket.
Without even setting his feet, Dwyane Wade gathered the ball on the end-line after the made bucket, turned and heaved a full-court pass to LeBron James. A split-second earlier, James had leaked out after contesting the shot, sprinting the length of the court to set himself up in position to gather Wade's lengthy lob.
And it worked as LeBron caught the full-court pass and converted the lay-in plus the foul.
Yeah, just a wee bit ridiculous.
